Walk & Location InformationThe Walk: This 2.5 mile (4.1 km) walk is a mixture of tarmac roads and pavements, footpaths and grassy fields. There are no stiles but some areas might be tricky with buggies - there are some roads with no pavement as well as a stream so please take care.
The Venue: The William Bray is set just up the hill in the beautiful village of Shere, near Guildford. The pub has a small car park and some road parking is available just past the pub up the hill. DirectionsFrom M25 junction 9 (Leatherhead) follow A24 to Dorking, then follow A25 towards Guildford. After approx. 4 miles turn left, signed Shere, into Gomshall Lane and after a further 200 yards, in the centre of the village, turn left again into Shere Lane. The William Bray pub is on the right.
Public TransportThe nearest train station is Gomshall, approx. 1.5 miles from the start.
