Walk & Location Information

The Walk: 3.7 miles of completely flat walking on well made paths. Taking in a lovely stretch of the River Thames and surrounding countryside.
 
The Venue: The Swan Pub, 50 Manor Road, Walton on Thames, KT12 2PF
The pub dates back to 1770 and has been prominent in the local community ever since. It has a small car park and there is parking in the surrounding streets, but it gets very busy, therefore I would suggest parking in the Heart Shopping Centre (KT12 1GH) which is a short walk away. It costs £1 for the whole day on Sundays.
Traditional pub food is served all day including roasts, you will need to book - 01932 225964 or www.swanwalton.com It's a Youngs pub so their beer is on offer along with some choice lagers and an extensive wine list.

The pub is situated on the river, which is a short distance from the A244, see map above.

Public Transport

Walton on Thames is the nearest railway station, it's a good walk, over a mile to the pub, so you might want to get a taxi, there is a rank at the station.
